Intended Audience
Words for Kids Free is intended for youngsters who have some knowledge of the letter sounds or those who have used the Bubble Phonics app. It is the first exposure to word recognition for your youngster.

For Parents
Words for Kids Free is a light version that provides an entertaining learning experience with colorful bubbles, animation and phonetic audios. This light version of the game contains 10 three-letter phonetically spelled words that use the short vowel sounds.

When the game begins, the youngster selects whether to find the word or image on the moving bubbles. If finding image is selected, the matching word appears in the upper left hand corner. Translucent bubbles with images (including the correct answer) float across the screen. The youngster chooses the correct image to match the word. If finding word is selected, the matching image appears in the upper left hand corner. Translucent bubbles with words (including the correct answer) float across the screen. The youngster chooses the correct word to match the image.


The Game
As an example, if the youngster selected finding image, the word hit would appear in the left hand corner. The youngster searches the floating bubbles to find the image to match the word "hit". If the correct image is chosen, they are rewarded with an audio and visual positive response. Additionally, the image is animated for added interest to the youngster. If an incorrect letter is chosen, they are gently encouraged to try again with a reduced number of selections.
